Seiryoku Zenyo Kokumin Taiiku

Forms of Maximum- Efficiency National physical education

As explained in “Kodokan Judo: “The Essential Guide to Judo by Its Founder Jigoro Kano” This is an interesting system of physical education that promotes in addition to its usefulness a healthy mind and body. It contains both aspects of physical education and martial arts and has forms of attack and defense. It consists of 8 movements of Tandoku-renshu (Solo practice) and 9 movements of Sotai-renshu (Duo practice).

Idori: Kneeling Techniques

Ryote-dori (Two-Hand Hold)

Furihanashi (Shaking Loose)

Gyakute-dori (Reverse Two-Hand Hold)

Tsukkake (Stomach Punch)

Kiri-gake (Head Cut)

Tachiai: Standing Techniques

Tsuki-age (Uppercut)

Yoko-uchi (Side Blow)

Ushiro-dori (Hold from Behind)

Naname-tsuki (Carotid Cut)

Kiroroshi (Downward Cut)
